Private Corner launches a GP-Stakes fund-of-funds in partnership with Blue Owl

The new Blue Owl GP Stakes Strategy fund, offered through the digital platform Private Corner, was featured in Capital Finance. The GP Stakes strategy involves investing in the equity of alternative asset management firms to capture their recurring revenues while diversifying exposure.

Private Corner is expanding its offering by launching a fund-of-funds dedicated to GP Stakes, reserved for sophisticated investors and exposed to Blue Owl’s flagship strategy, a global leader in the segment. This strategy will allow private sophisticated investors, through their wealth and asset managers, to invest from €100,000.

Key Features of the Blue Owl Fund

The “Blue Owl GP Stakes Strategy” fund provides access to mid-cap and large-cap strategies, with the possibility to invest in GP-Stake continuation funds.

“Similar to secondary private equity, this strategy offers faster returns through dividends received by the GP staker, with recurring cash flows, exposure to top-tier GPs, and broad diversification,” explains Estelle Dolla, President of Private Corner. Blue Owl’s vehicles are expected to form a portfolio of 30 to 40 management companies, giving investors exposure to over 150 funds and more than 2,000 multi-sector companies. The portfolio already includes renowned managers such as Veritas, HIG, Harvest, and Platinum.

Blue Owl Capital, formerly known as Dyal Capital Partners, is a U.S.-based asset management firm specializing in alternative investments. As of March 31, 2025, Blue Owl managed approximately $273 billion in assets across three strategic platforms: credit, GP Stakes, and real assets.

GP-Stakes: A growing strategy

The GP-Stakes strategy allows investors to gain exposure to recurring revenues generated by asset management companies while diversifying their portfolios. According to forecasts, the GP-Stakes market is expected to reach $21.3 trillion in assets under management by 2028.
